Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Saint Joseph, MO Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,636 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position ID: 75477006 Shift: Days 8 hours 35 hours GTD Description: PTAs implement components of patient care, obtain data related to the treatments provided, and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary. PTAs assist thephysical therapistin the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to people at the end of life. Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups Read instructions from Physical Therapist Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients Speak with families to find best at-home techniques Keep physical therapy clean and organized Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area Complete administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork Teach patients techniques like balance training Submission requirements: 1 year of PTA experience - [REQUIRED]LTC or Rehab Experience - [Required]PTA -license -[Required]Must be submitted at the posted rate, if requested rate is higher candidate will be redirected Rate:60 OnCall:No Call WeekendDescription:No Weekends Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks:91 Requirements Required for Onboarding Core Exam - Allied/Non-Nursing Physical Therapist Assistant Exam
