scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age appropriate
nursing care on all critical care and medical/surgical units for
stable and critically ill patients. (Assists with the shift
supervision of non-professional personnel as necessary). At

the nursing process to develop and implement a comprehensive,
age-appropriate plan of care for stable and critically ill patients
and families which promotes optimal patient outcomes. - Meets the
educational and informational needs of the stable and critically
ill patient and family, utilizing appropriate principles of
teaching/learning. - Promotes safe, efficient, family-centered care
to stable and critically ill patients. - Delegates nursing care
based on knowledge of staff qualifications/competency and patient
care requirements. - Participates in performance improvement
activities and attends education programs, unit meetings and
assigned committees. /n/nQualifications:/n - Associate's Degree and
- Current employees hired before September 1, 2013 are
grandfathered and permitted to continue in the direct care nursing
role. - 2 years or more of nursing experience - Bachelor's Degree
preferred - Direct care nurses without a BSN hired on or after
September 1, 2013 are required to enroll in an academic program
promptly in order to complete their BSN degree requirements within
5 years of their hire date. - One of the following: Licensed RN -
Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon
hire - One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse
Multistate License Missouri required upon hire - RN Compact license
for all states besides KS and MO - KS or MO compact license
required within 90 days of hire - Refer to Nursing and Advanced
Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required
Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire - Specialty

competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $34.43/hr, but
your offer will be determined based on your education and
