Kansas City, Missouri, 64108! Job Title: Pediatric Acute Care Float
Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Pediatric Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Pediatric or Pediatric
Med Surge experience License: Active license in Missouri and Kansas
(or willing to obtain Kansas license) Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: Travel experience Description: The position is for a
Float Nurse in the Pediatric Acute Care unit. The nurse will be
expected to float to other similar units within the same facility.
There may be some floating to a nearby facility, but it is not
guaranteed. Floating will only occur within similar specialties and
acuities. Ideal candidates will have experience in Pediatric Care
or Pediatric Med Surge. The position requires both BLS and ACLS
certifications from an accepted provider. Nurses must possess an
active license in Missouri and Kansas, or be in the process of
obtaining the Kansas license. Travel experience is a requirement
for this role. The orientation period will require passing a
medication and dosage test in the first week. Nurses must achieve a
100% pass rate on this assessment. Three attempts will be provided
to achieve the required score. The facility adheres to a smoke-free
policy. This position is suited for adaptable professionals willing
