Job Description Job Description Legal Collections Specialist LHH is assisting with a search for a Legal Collections Specialist in Kansas City, MO. We are looking someone with at least 2-3 years of strong background in legal collections experience and a working knowledge of 3E Software. This position will work a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site/week) with pay starting at $65k annually and going up with experience. Read below for additional details! Key Responsibilities: Monitor the firm's accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts. Contact customers with delinquent accounts to collect overdue amounts or negotiate installment payment plans. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, including contacts, attempted contacts, and payments collected. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to billing issues promptly and professionally. Prepare and submit regular reports detailing the status of unpaid accounts and repayment progress. Qualifications: Strong communication and negotiation skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Problem-solving skills for resolving billing disputes. Familiarity with accounting software and basic financial principles is a plus.
