Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy,
active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an
opportunity to provide physical therapy services within a dynamic
K-12 school setting in Overland Park, KS, supporting the Kansas
City Kansas Public Schools. The role is a contract assignment for
the current school year (CSY), with an immediate start date and
continuing through May 22, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
physical therapy services to students across multiple school
locations, fostering their physical development and educational
success Manage an itinerant schedule, traveling between assigned
schools to provide consistent and quality care Collaborate with
school staff, families, and healthcare providers to create and
implement individualized treatment plans Document progress and
maintain compliance with school district and state guidelines
Qualifications: Active Kansas Physical Therapist (PT) licensure is
required Experience working within school-based or pediatric
settings preferred Ability to manage a flexible schedule and
commute to various schools, including Gloria Willis, Hazel Grove,
Noble Prentis, New Chelsea, West Park, Quindaro, Lindbergh, Silver
City, John F Kennedy, Arrowhead, Central Middle School, Argentine,
Lowell Brune, Eisenhower, Rosedale, Carl Bruce, Caruthers, Claude
Huyck, and Eugene Ware Strong communication and organizational
skills for coordinating with educational teams and families
Schedule and Location: 37.5 hours per week Itinerant role across
multiple schools in the Kansas City, KS area Benefits and Perks:
