Seeking a Traveling Superintendent to work for a Geotechnical contractor. They design and install specialty foundation elements and do specialty ground improvement techniques. Projects include commercial, civil, and industrial. They take pride in their earth retention molds and sculpting that hold back slopes.

Travel is required. Candidate will be home 1x per month. Per diem is $45 per day for food & laundry. Hotels are paid for by company.

Areas: Rocky Mountain region (Colorado and Salt Lake), Kansas, North Dakota, Texas.

Skills & Qualifications:

8+ year in Superintendent experience

Experience in the geotechnical field

Experience with:

Deep foundation

Earth retention

Soil improvement

Soil nails

Tie back anchors

Shock creek

Compaction droughting

Aggregated peers

Joint shaft

Responsibilities:

On-site project supervision including management of field labor, equipment, materials, safety and production.

Studying plans and specifications for construction

Assembling skilled craft workers and laborers

Procurement of tools and materials

Conferring with all levels of staff from laborers to engineering personnel to resolve issues and improve construction methods

Preparing detailed progress reports and inspecting work

Frequent travel required
