SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Consult with other team members (e.g. Classroom Teachers, direct staff, therapists, parents, etc) to optimize delivery of services in areas such as identifying reinforcers, utilizing motivation systems, prompting strategies, data collection systems, task analyses, and provide coaching to staff based on BCBA recommendations
Provide direct behavioral services such as conducting functional behavior assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, provide direct intervention, etc
Train staff on behavioral procedures to ensure consistency and integrity in the administration of behavior intervention plans
Work collaboratively with other members of clients' teams (e.g., Teachers, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, direct staff, administrators, parents, etc) to provide necessary supports and ensure adequate progress
Perform other professional duties as needed to support the functions of the department.

The--Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)--must be able to prioritize, organize and communicate with all levels of the organization. WORK ENVIRONMENT:--
The--Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)--position is located within our Special Education Department. You will be in the midst of activity and energy. This position is:--

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:--

US work authorization
Masters degree
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Missouri License to practice Behavior Analysis

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
Experience working in a school setting--
Experience supporting clients within a consultative model of ABA service provision--
First Aid/CPR certification
