Description:Associated Couriers is one of the nation's fastest growing courier companies that focuses a variety of delivery services ranging from delivering medical specimens, hazardous materials, e-commerce, retail logistics, pharmaceuticals, and final mile consumer products.Associated Couriers provides a unique delivery service for the medical sector and is looking for a safe and dependable Full-Time CDL Class B Hazmat Delivery Driver to join our Kansas City, MO team on a full-time basis covering various local routes.Schedule: Sunday-Thursday (primarily evening routes starting around 8PM)We are pleased to offer a $2,500 sign on bonus for candidates hired on that have a Class B CDL and an active Hazmat endorsement at time of hire. This bonus will be paid out in two lump sums, $1,250 after 6 months of employment, and $1,250 after 1 year of employment.Responsibilities:Comply with ICC and DOT regulations dailyTransport freight from distribution to delivery site without errorMaintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulationsCompletes Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC RegulationsPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripLoad and unload freight to and from vehicle using safety perimeters that are put into placeSecuring cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicleFollow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate timesMaintain detailed driving and delivery logsTrack and report working hoursResponsible for counting and recording quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up to ensure accurate paperwork for customer transactionsObey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditionsProvide a high standard of Customer Service while delivering goods to customersOther responsibilities as delegated by managementSalary:Class B - Starting pay is between $24-$26 per hourRequirements:Has CDL Class B license with hazmat endorsementValid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last 3 yearsWilling to undergo pre-employment background check and drug testAbility to pass a DOT drug test to meet FMSCA requirementsOpen work availability Sunday-ThursdayHas a highschool diploma or equivalentAbility to travel up to 15% when neededA current DOT medical cardBe able to work out of Kansas City, MOAbility to lift up to 105 lbsAuthorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureWhat we offer:Weekly payMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance are available to employee on day one401(k) with matchShort & Long Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany paid and optional Life InsuranceOptional Hospital, Critical Illness, and Accident Indemnity InsurancePaid Time Off & Sick PayAdvancement opportunities in a fast-growing organizationAssociated Couriers is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.pm21PI215433418
