Join us as a Maintenance Mechanic in our in Kansas City plant on our overnight shift (6p-6a), where we proudly produce one of our most well-known products: Cheeze-Its! You'll collaborate with an upbeat, hard-working, and diverse team to keep our plant running smoothly, and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department! This position pays $33.15 per hour. What is 1"x1" and first produced in 1921? Cheez-It, the cracker! • Conducting Preventative Maintenance - Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and industrial ovens in our cookie bakery. You'll aim for excellence every day, helping us bring the best to families.
• Ensuring Performance Efficiency - Manage machine performance by doing equipment set-up and change-overs. You'll facilitate production and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns. We're looking for someone who brings dedication to the table!
• Following Best Practices - Understand, follow and enforce all established guidelines. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with all safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures and recognized practices.   • High school diploma or GED
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day
