Industrial Equipment Software (IES) is hiring a
challenge-seekingManufacturing Integration Technician for our
Midwest territory. Ourtechs have a wide range of duties to deliver

CNC machine toolperformance for today\'s leading manufacturers. IES
develops and marketsits XMC line of software products, used by
manufacturers around theworld to measure, visualize, and improve
the health and performance ofcritical machine tools and automated
equipment. IES enhances itssolutions with advanced CNC machine
optimization products ranging fromtool monitoring to adaptive
control to sensor analysis. The ideal techis eager to learn,
deliver, and support our full range of software andhardware
products across aerospace, medical, oil and gas, and
othermanufacturing industries that utilize CNC machine tools.A DAY
IN THE LIFE OF A MANUFACTURING INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN:
- Build strong customer relationships by providing
outstandingcustomer service and demonstrating technical mastery of
oursolutions
- Increase technical proficiency with all XMC machine
analyticssoftware products and machine tool optimization products
from CaronEngineering
- Schedule and prepare for upcoming product installations
- Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot XMC software
solutionsand Caron Engineering machine optimization products
- Consult with other team members, internal departments, and
externalvendors to resolve issues related to installation and
support of ourproducts
- Train customers on use of our products and solutions
- Document project information and complete reports as required
forwork records
- Purchase and maintain inventory of products and software
- Comply with IES and customer site safety standardsTO JOIN THE
TEAM, YOU SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-year degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent
workexperience in manufacturing environments
- CNC machine operation, service, or CNC programming
experiencepreferred
- Basicmechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
experience
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and hand/power tools
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows, PC networking,
andinstallation of PC software and hardware
- Proficient with MS Office apps; basic database
orscripting/programming skills a big plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work independently with effective
planningand organizational skills
- Willing and able to travel (by car or plane) 50%-60% of the
time
- Manual and visual dexterity to assemble small parts and
products
- Ability to lift a 70-pound travel kit into and out of an
automobiletrunk
