Production Supervisor will lead all production aspects of filling
high pressure medical oxygen cylinders - receiving, prefill
inspections, filling, post filling processes, and order fulfillment
- in a regulated environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for hiring, coaching, performance
appraisal and disciplining of subordinate staff.Supervises the
activities of subordinate staff.Provides direction and guidance in
work assignments.Ensures timely and accurate completion of
tasks.Typically supervises 4 - 8 primarily nonexempt
employees.Oversees the shipping, receiving and distribution of
oxygen cylinders.Ensures oxygen cylinders are efficiently
distributed to other branch offices within the region by organizing
equipment deliveries.Ensures oxygen cylinders are accurately and
efficiently filled.Performs quality assurance checks on all
products received before stocking or distributing goods.Tests and
inspects cylinders. Verifies filling requirements. Maintains files
of work performed including lot and batch number information,
cylinder maintenance and inspection logs and materials required by
the F.D.A. Conducts routine and periodic inventory counts of
cylinders.Ensures warehouse is maintained in an efficient, neat,
and safe manner. Responsible for the proper storage and cleaning of
oxygen cylinders.Keeps informed of and complies with federal,
state, and local requirements as they apply to warehouse
functions.May be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of
facility grounds.Answers patient inquiries regarding product
information when appropriate.Performs other duties as
required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position supervises all
subordinate employees of the department and is responsible for the
performance management, hiring, and discipline of subordinate
employees within the department.Supervisor must be able to fill
other production line roles when staffing levels are low due
absences or other.Minimum Required Qualifications
(External):Education and/or ExperienceEducation or experience
equivalent to a high school diploma is required.At least six years
related experience with one year in a lead or supervisory capacity

Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Language SkillsEnglish
(reading, writing, verbal)Mathematical SkillsIntermediate level
mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand,
interpret and develop spreadsheet data.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis is a
stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing,
repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close
vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may
require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling,
bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending,
stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may
require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.OTHER
