Job Description:
DescriptionThe Compensation Analyst is responsible for the
global administration of benefit and compensation programs that
support the overall human resources strategy and company
objectives. This position partners closely with Human Resources
Business Partners and the Benefits Manager to meet organization
objectives and is responsible for world class execution, analysis
and collaborative thought leadership. This is an onsite HR
opportunity located at our World Headquarters in Kansas City,
MO.Implements the Burns & McDonnell's total compensation program,
including base pay and year-end bonus, and maintaining alignment
with the company's core values of employee-ownership and pay for
performance culture.Responsible for the analysis, design, and
administration of all company compensation programs in partnership
with the compensation team and manager in partnership with the
compensation team and manager.Creates compensation-related
analytics around pay parity and distribution.Creates compensation
strategies, participate in compensation surveys and the appropriate
utilization of the survey data.Analyzes and sets pay salary ranges
globally to ensure market competitiveness.Interact as necessary
with senior management concerning areas of compensation
support.Participates in compensation reviews with Vice President of
Human Resources to manage the annual and mid-year base pay review
process to keep in line with market compensation.Documents
procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with
regulatory requirements.Continuously improve overall process
efficiency and accuracy.All other duties as
assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a human resources or
business related field.Minimum of 5 years related experience in
Human Resources, with an expertise in the areas of compensation,
benefits and Human Resources systems.Excellent oral and written
communication skills, a strategic perspective and excellent project
management skills are required.An advanced degree and/or
professional designations (CCP, CEBS, SPHR) are desirable.
Experience or familiarity with ESOP companies preferred.Expert in
Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and
Outlook.Experience using HRIS software (Oracle products preferred),
database and web based systems.Ability to maintain high level of
confidentiality and professionalism.Strong multi-tasking,
prioritization and organization skills.Attention to detail,
critical thinking, analytical and problem solving
skills.Self-starter, fast learner with ability to work
independently under limited supervision.Must work well in an
interactive team
