Quality Assurance Technician - NIGHTS

Job Description:

SHIFT: Nights 7pm-7am on 2-2-3 schedule

Execute corporate and plant specific Food Safety, Quality and Laboratory requirements.

  • Ensure food safety and quality parameters are beingmaintained throu ghout the facility.
  • Assist with batching chemicals/ingredients.
  • Calibrate lab and line equipment for accuracy.
  • Conduct standardized qualitative and quantitative testing.
  • Collect in-process and finished product samples.
  • Perform aseptic testing for microbial contamination.
  • Follow protocols for documenting testing results.
  • Review food safety and quality records.
  • Recognize deficiencies and initiate proper follow-up.
  • Aid in troubleshooting deficiencies and non-conformances.
  • Identify and isolate product that does not meet standards.
  • Actively participate in plant teams (HACCP, Safety, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned


    • 0-2 Years: Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 0-2 Years: Experience working in Position
    • 0-2: Years: Experience managing people/projects

    • Read, write and communicate in English.
    • Follow GMP Policy - wear company issued shirt, hat, safety glasses, earplugs and hairnet in production areas.
    • Lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Work under pressure in a very fast paced environment.

                • Minimum Required: - High School Diploma
                • Preferred: - Associate's Degree
