Job Description:

McKesson requires new employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as defined by the CDC, subject to applicable, verified accommodation requests.In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner for the distribution center leader and operations managers as you plan, lead, and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives within the entire DC. You will drive operational excellence by leading internal quality audits and establishing/improving on standard operating processes. This leader will also establish a strong and exciting onboarding/training program for all new hires while implementing improvement initiatives for our existing team.This leader will also ensure that all state licenses are accurate and keep the facility prepared at all times for any regulatory or compliance audit.If process improvement, inspirational leadership and growth is what you are looking for in the next step of your career, we'd like to talk more with you about it.Salary starting at $80k, depending on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesUse Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodology to improve, solve problems and for re-engineering processes.Develop and manage a DC training program to improve efficiency and incorporate best practices.Leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that improve customer care quality, safety, service, and productivity while reducing costPromote a culture of continuous improvement at all levels.Ensure initiatives are data driven, prioritized properly and carried out timely.Coach and mentor team members to increase employee engagement.Provide support during change initiatives to all team members.Handle changing priorities and obstacles with ease and professionalism.Support compliance both internal and external regulatory requirements (FDA/OSHA).Must possess high motivation, enthusiasm, and dedication to our team and customers.Lead team members in support of DC wide initiatives.Minimum RequirementsExperience5 years operational and managerial experienceDeep understanding of how departments within a distribution center function and their interdependenciesSolid knowledge of lean sigma methodologies required (Six Sigma Black Belt preferred)Advanced computer skills including typical office suite programsExperience with automation and workflow management systems (JD Edwards, QC Software, BOSS etc.)Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to see the "big picture"Ability to investigate issues to root cause and develop safe guards from event(s) occurring againPassion and commitment to continuous improvement with demonstrated success in leading and influencing team membersMust be a positive change leader with strong interpersonal skillsEducation4-year degree or related field equivalent experiencePhysicalGeneral office demandsPosition includes standing, sitting, walking in a warehouse environmentMust be able to carry and operate a laptopMust be willing to work various hours in a 24/7 operational warehouseCareer Level - Manager - M2McKesson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
