Policy Specialist (Underwriting Assistant)Our client, a Global company is searching for a Policy Specialist to join their reputable organization.HYBRID work schedule.Excellent benefits with quick coverage (medical, dental, vision, 401k, Profit Sharing and more), 35-hour week, low turnover, great people to work with.Responsible for issuing policy documents (policy, endorsements, certificates, invoices) per underwriter instructions using Companys policy issuance system and other applications outside of the policy issuance system such as Microsoft Word and Nitro PDF and copying/filing documents.Interpret underwriter instructions to issue policy documentsUpdate data in Companys system to issue policy documents including manuscript documents and amended wordingsIssue documents in priority of urgency and Company standards and be able to adjust prioritiesCopy and prepare policy documents for filingUtilize telephone and Microsoft Outlook to communicate questions / answers and transmit policy documents to underwriters and brokersCalculate endorsement premiums for manual policies using underwriters instructionsDesired QualificationsInsurance, banking or paralegal experience a plusAssociates Degree a plusSolid administrative experience or in a similar positionStrong computer skillsExcellent proofreading skillsAbility to work in a high-volume work environment with changing priorities Career Personnel, Inc., established in 1990, is a privately owned Human Resources Consulting / Recruiting firm.
