Position Summary:Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is
hiring a n Associate Scientist II for Biologics III who is
responsible to provide and report data, as required by project
contracts within the Biologics Department.-- The data may be used
for submission in Regulatory packages, release and stability
testing of clinical and animal trial dose forms and in support of
development projectsThis is a full-time role position: Monday -

oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and
analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture.--
The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our
Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over
25 years of experience providing analytical services for
stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.Catalent is committed

- In support of large molecule therapeutics, execute laboratory
work plan / schedule developed with input from supervisor or senior
team member.-- Sample types include in-process, release or
stability.-- Techniques may include any or all of the following:
Mammalian cell culture, Sterile technique, In vitro cell based
assays (e.g. reporter gene bioassay, CellTiter-Glo bioassay, etc.),
ELISA assays, quantitative and potency (fluorescence, luminescence,
colorimetric, MSD), Molecular biology (e.g. --qPCR, PCR, etc.),
Kinetic binding assessment (e.g. BLI or SPR), Flow cytometry;
- Successfully trains on 1-2 methods and/or techniques mentioned
above and performs adhoc sample testing activities under cGMP as
required;
- May draft technical documents such as methods or certificates
of analysis;
- Performs parallel review of laboratory documentation and may
become qualified to perform technical review of documents for
accuracy, thoroughness and regulatory compliance;
- Trains others on laboratory techniques;
- Assists in the execution of efficiency improvement project with
guidance;
- All other duties as assigned;The Candidate
- Bachelor's degree required, with majors in Life Sciences such
as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or closely related physical
science; --
- 0-3+ years of relevant experience preferred or based on
performance at Catalent; --
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with
internal customers, colleagues, and supervisor;
- Well organized with ability to multitask and be flexible with
daily work schedule;
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and
