Scientist I, Biologics IIIPosition Summary:Catalent is a global,

Delivery Services and Biologics Analytical Services businesses. The
site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage
forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to
clinical and commercial-scale manufacture.-- The Kansas City
facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical
Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of
experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and
integrated biologics projects.Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas
City, MO is hiring a Scientist, Biologics III whose main activities
will be to provide and report data, as required by project
contracts within the Biologics Department.-- The data may be used
for submission in Regulatory packages, release and stability
testing of clinical and animal trial dose forms and in support of
development projects.-- This is a full-time salaried role. The core
hours Monday - Friday. --Flexible start and end times. (7AM-3PM,
8AM-4PM, 9AM-5PM)Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture

- In support of large molecule therapeutics, develop and execute
laboratory work, plans/schedules independently using customer
milestones and Division/site performance standards and metrics.--
Sample types include in-process, release or stability for CMC
support.-- Techniques may include any or all of the following:
Mammalian cell culture, Sterile technique, In vitro cell based
assays (e.g. reporter gene bioassay, cell titer glo proliferation
bioassay, etc.), ELISA assays, quantitative and potency
(fluorescence, luminescence, colorimetric, MSD), Molecular biology
(e.g. Sanger Sequencing, NGS, qPCR, ddPCR, dPCR etc.), Kinetic
binding assessment (e.g. BLI or SPR), Flow cytometry;
- Perform method validation or transfer activities, as needed.--
Under direction, perform method development activities;
- Perform various types of testing under cGMP, as
appropriate;
- Author technical documents, such as protocols, test methods,
reports, certificates of analysis, and operating procedures;
- Responsible as Project Technical Lead with responsibility for
project outcome and customer interaction;
- Train, coach or mentor others on technical, personal
development or business issues;
- Supervise technical staff, including work assignments and
performance management;
- Execute efficiency improvement project with guidance
- All other duties as assigned;The Candidate
- Requires Degree in Life sciences such as Chemistry,
Biochemistry, Biology or closely related Physical Science;
- Requires Bachelors Degree: 7+ years of relevant experience; OR
Masters Degree: 2+ years of relevant experience; OR Doctorate
Degree: 0-2+ years of relevant experience; --
- Maintain high quality laboratory documentation in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidance and Site SOPs;
- Can organize and manage teams chartered to address resolution
of lab issues or special projects with general management guidance;
- Able to prioritize and suggest alternatives or contingencies to
achieve the correct technical solutions with most efficient
resource utilization;
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and
