Job Description: The job of the Group Leader in Hornet Club was established for the purpose/s of helping students develop and strengthen academic, physical and social emotional skills by providing enrichment programming, recreation, and academic activities for designated groups of up to 15 students. Group Leaders lead enrichment activities, and ensure the students are in a safe environment. Group leaders have great input into the activities offered, based upon the needs of the day school and the desires of the students.

Essential Functions:

• Plans and implements enrichment learning activities for the purpose of improving students academic, physical and social skills.
• Promotes good habits for the purpose of improving the quality of students' outcome and encouraging student development. Job Requirements:
  • Lead and assist students, individually or in groups with
  • Attends weekly staff meeting and professional development opportunities with the Site Coordinator and Grant Director, for maintaining paperwork and coordinating activities, reviewing state standards, and learning new instructional techniques.
  • Maintains all classroom equipment and working area as well as the safety of the students.
  • Any other duties requested by the site coordinators and grant director.
