Hiring Department
The UMKC Office of Information Services is seeking two individuals
for professional information technology positions that span a broad
range of technical support activities including, but not limited
to, end user support for campus community, support for computer
hardware, server and peripheral hardware/software configuration and
installation, and mobile device support. .
Job Description
This position is generally structured to be first and second tier
support but can vary based on experience. Sound customer service
principles and best IT practices must be applied while fulfilling
the technical function for end users. This position will work with
a team of technicians to complete IT projects and support
responsibilities. This position may serve as technical lead on
special projects that require an in-depth understanding of certain
systems or technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
For consideration at the ENTRY level - candidates must posses a
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and
experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be
aquired as necessary.
For consideration at the SPECIALIST level - the ideal candidate
will possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of
education and experience and 2+ years of related work experience
from which comparable knowledge and skills can be aquired as
necessary
Candidates at the entry or specialist level should possess the
following experience:
This is a full-time (100% FTE), benefit-eligible, salaried (exempt)
position.
Salary
$48,900 - $57,000/annual commensurate with education, experience
and internal equity.
Shift
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
