DescriptionJob Description:Leidos has an excellent opportunity
for a Project Systems Engineer to work on NASA's Cargo Mission
Contract (CMC), which provides pressurized cargo packing and
unpacking for the International Space Station. This role works
directly with the Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface
Mobility Program (EHP). The EHP vision is to provide safe,
reliable, and effective EVA and HSM capabilities that allow
astronauts to survive and work outside the confines of a spacecraft
on and around the Moon.The Project Systems Engineer performs
systems engineering and technical integration across the lifecycle
of the project, and supports the project's systems engineering
structures and processes that lead to a certified vehicle. This
role collaborates with the Project Lead Systems Engineer and
Project Systems Engineering Team to accomplish project requirements
and key milestones to achieve the end goal of the project. The
selected candidate will seek innovative opportunities to improve
cost, schedule, technical performance and safety within the project
and program.This position is located in Houston, TX at Johnson
Space Center.US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is required.
Must have ability to obtain a Public Trust Security
Clearance.Primary Responsibilities:Lead integration of technical
requirements across disciplines throughout lifecyle of project to
support successful execution.Define architecture specifications and
oversee system hardware / software configuration to ensure
requirements are met.Perform integrated analysis, margin
management, and technical technical baseline product management
(MEL, PEL, THEL, Mass Properties).Develop test campaign planning,
scheduling, coordination of logistics, and manage through to to
day-of-test execution.Plan and deliver major project reviews with
internal and external customers to provide technical status
updates.Assess technical risk and implement mitigation measures.
Participate in anamoly investigation and make recommend changes to
test programs.Provide technical integration leadership to support
achievement of certification and acceptance of project.Occasional
support of international meetings in the evenings, from
approximately 18:30 to 21:00, CST may be required.OGE-450 and/or
ability to be cleared for procurement sensitive discussions may be
requiredOccasional international travel may be requiredMinimum
Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in Engineering (or related field);
and 3+ year of relevant experienceSystems Engineering experience,
including knowledge of flight hardware testing and project
lifecycleAdept at reading and interpreting engineering
drawingsExperience presenting technical and financial project
status updates to large groupsAbility to work collaboratively among
multi-disciplinary teams and customersStrong oral, written, and
interpersonal communication skillsMS Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint proficiencyFamiliarity with SharePointPreferred
Qualifications:Knowledge of NASA Human Spaceflight Program /
International Space Station hardware processesExperience working
with international partnersPay Range:Pay Range $63,050.00 -
$97,000.00 - $130,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is
a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or
salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include

experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement
