Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson Health is seeking a Social Strategist in our
Kansas City, MO office. The Social Strategist is an independent
thinker but also a doer in the best sense of the word. You'll have
an innate curiosity in content and social media strategy, and a
deep interest in emerging technologies. An avid consumer of popular
culture with a developed eye for excellence in social media, you'll
contribute to strategy at the highest level, working alongside a
team and cultivating a portfolio of excellent work.
What you'll do:
Client Services - Develop and implement comprehensive social media
strategies and plans to efficiently engage audiences on behalf of
multiple clients. Identify the role of social media strategies in
the context of overarching client campaigns and objectives. Present
all social media strategies and recommendations to external
partners and clients. Audit existing social media programs for
clients: Evaluate strategy and implementation of client's social
media programs, compile competitive research, and provide strategic
recommendations. Understand and articulate media trends with the
goal of determining how they affect to client and their
campaigns/objectives.
Data Analysis - Articulate the importance of social media within
the larger media plan and ensure social media strategies ladder up
to the overall media and campaign strategy. Evaluate metrics and
proactively provide insights and optimizations to improve campaign
performance or brand goals. Report weekly and monthly analytics and
present to all external partners and clients. Provide market
analysis and other reports as requested regarding social media.
Collaborate - Maintain all vendor and interagency relationships as
they relate to social media. Manage and ensure performance of all
day-to-day social media campaign maintenance and monitoring.
Collaborate and communicate with designers and/or copywriters to
provide social and performance insights to inform and build
engaging content relevant to target audiences. Help develop
proposals and participate in pitch meetings with other agency
staff.

What You'll Need:
Education : Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, media
studies or communication.
Experience : 2+ years of relevant social
media/advertising/marketing experience, agency experience
preferred.
Be versed in platform specific capabilities and executions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
Preferred experience in healthcare and B2B advertising.
Knowledge of planning and executing efficient social media
strategies in social platforms including Facebook Business Manager,
Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok.
Ability to recommend and provide rationale for social media KPIs
and benchmarks.
Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication,
time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced
environment.
