Position: Lead Youth Care Specialist (Part-Time)
Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 hourly
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
Job Type: Part-Time


RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lead Youth Care Specialist reports to the Manager of the Youth Care Specialist and supervises and transports youth after hours. This position problem-solves and ensures calls are answered and solutions are provided in a timely manner; ensuring the safety of youth. Lead Youth Care Specialist ensures the Youth Care Specialists are responsive to the Youth Care Specialist Phone and After Hours Emergency Phone, triaging incoming calls, problem-solving and assigning tasks, and verifying documentation is completed and entered prior to the end of shift. The Lead Youth Care Specialist supports the Manager of the Youth Care Specialist in the development of staff through training and coaching.


QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a high school diploma/GED and at least two years of experience working with youth. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of work experience in the Child Welfare arena. 1 year of Kansas case management experience they are required. Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
