Job Description:

Scenic West Design is looking for Freelance UX/UI Designers to contribute user flow diagrams, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and other design deliverables for one or more key client projects. You'll be collaborating with Product Managers and Product Designers to create engaging, innovative B2B SaaS, Edu Tech, and/or Ecommerce experiences. We're a primarily remote team, but the core team is based in Chattanooga. Joining our Freelance Talent Pool is a great way to meet the team and pick up extra work to fill your time while still pursuing other work. Typical freelance commitments are 10-25 hours a week, but depend on the specific project.

Requirements

• You have 3+ year of UX/UI design experience that includes B2B SaaS product work
• You have 1+ year of Figma experience including creating design systems and clickable prototypes
• You have experience creating user flow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups based on high level requirements
• You have experience doing UX audits or CRO audits
• You enjoy collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers
• You have experience leading conversations with clients or key stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering and design iteration process
• You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or have completed a product design/ux training program
• You have strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic
• You have experience working remote
• You are familiar with Trello, Slack, Google Drive, JIRA, etc.
• You are familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum vs. Kanban, etc.)
• Agency or freelance experience

  • Experience doing user research
  • Experience with HotJar, UserTesting.com, or other similar tools
  • Experience building, maintaining, or expanding design systems in Figma
  • Experience writing user stories, functional requirements, etc.
