An employer is looking for a Facility Manager to manage Valet
operations at a hotel. They will be responsible for managing a team
of 16, including valet attendants. They will be in charge of
scheduling, hiring, and managing. Other responsibilites
Supervise valet attendant relations with clients to ensure that
complaints, disagreements or misunderstandings about rates or
services are resolved diplomatically.
Ensure that proper parking, security, cash control and customer
service procedures are being followed by all employees.
Handle all personnel issues and paperwork for hiring, termination
and training of support staff.
Supervise special events or functions as they relate to the valet
operation in order to ensure that incoming customers are served
efficiently and properly.

Hotel/hospitality background in management (2-3 years minimum)
Experience managing, hiring, and scheduling valet attendants
Experience with Excel, Word, Microsoft Office
Experience reviewing monthly P&L, and completing some paperwork

Good customer service (they might be asked questions from guests,
dealing with key card issues etc.)
Drivers license (driving hotel car from time to time if needed)
Associates degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
