Job Description:

The role of the Inside Sales Manager is to work closely with their inside sales team to drive sales performance that exceeds targets for conversion and revenue in both acquisition and repeat business. As a leader, this person will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and driving continuous improvement amongst their team in-line with company goals. This person will partner with Operations Leadership and other teams at C2FO to continually improve the effectiveness of their inside sales team but will report directly to the Director of Inside Sales.

As an Inside Sales Manager you will:

  • Provide coaching through regular side by sides and listening to calls
  • Mentor and develop Inside Sales (SRM) team with a focus on growing them professionally
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations leadership on company initiatives, watchlists and campaigns.
  • Foster an energetic, positive culture of high-performance, consistent motivation, effectiveness and results
  • Provide your team with ongoing training and coaching related to process, skills, best practices, and systems
  • Hold Weekly 1:1 with team members
  • Report, track, and manage sales activities
  • Facilitate and report on pipeline reviews

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales functions or individual quota-carrying roles
  • 2+ years of experience with leading and building high-performing B2B Inside Sales teams
  • Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proven track record of meeting sales goals and regular sales reporting
  • Self-confidence with the ability to build strong relationships, gaining trust and confidence as a strategic partner from all levels within the organization
  • Very strong work ethic and team player with a positive "figure it out, do what it takes" attitude
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Grace under fire (you can make critical decisions and problem solve amid chaos)

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with the Consultative Sales methodology in a B2B environment would be beneficial
  • Broad understanding of the inside sales tool landscape (telephone, sales automation, CRM, etc.) is important. This experience is ideally coupled with a natural curiosity and desire to stay apprised of the quickly evolving inside sales landscape.
  • General financial acumen and understanding of working capital solutions available to businesses
  • Well-versed in Salesforce.com for managing the sales cycle
  • Strong ability to decipher and report on targets/trends through data analysis and critical thinking
