Catalent's Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty
Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply
Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated
services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development
and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale
The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our
Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over
25 years of experience providing analytical services for
stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.
The Biologics department is fast-paced, performance driven,
customer focused, and collaborative. This position assists the
Kansas City Biologics team in performing many complex
administrative support tasks for the department. The Administrative
Assistant will support Biologics leadership with activities
including scheduling meetings, PowerPoint presentations, metrics
tracking, client visits, and more for the rapidly growing Biologics
Manage busy calendars to coordinate a variety of meetings
(including conference calls and WebEx).
Plan and coordinate all arrangements for professional meetings,
luncheons, department-wide events and outside conferences.
Filter all phone calls, mail and email, faxes, courier
deliveries, etc., dispersing and handling as appropriate.
Support client visits with agendas, communications, schedules,
lunches, and meetings as required.
Independently research, compile, and track data to ensure
progress to deadlines.
Support Biologics Operations leader by composing routine and
non-routine correspondence, reports, agendas, meeting materials,
PowerPoint slide decks, and other presentations.
Book and coordinate travel schedules, both domestic and
international (airline, hotel, ground transportation, etc.).
- Perform various administrative support duties as assigned that
can be highly sensitive and confidential.
Education or Equivalent: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 5+ years related experience in an administrative
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: World, Excel,
PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook calendar management. Familiarity
with SharePoint preferred.
Excellent clerical, typing and proofreading skills. Great
attention to detail.
Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Good problem solving and decision-making skills to identify and
solve work related issues.
Listens carefully to others and responds appropriately and in a
timely manner; Excellent communication skills.
Able to respond appropriately to internal and external inquiries
while handling a fluctuating workload.
