Job Description:
Description:The COVID screeners will be responsible for
following a very strict protocol to screen employees, patients, and
visitors. Everyone who enters the facility will have completed a
questionnaire through a QR code on their smart phones. The Screener
will verify that the questionnaire is complete and passed when an
individual enters the facility. If the individual does not have a
smart phone to complete the questionnaire, there will be paper
copies for the screeners to utilize to answer the questions. Once
verified, the screener will take the individual's temperature using
a no touch thermometer to the forehead. When a temp is under 100.4,
the individual will receive a sticker and be directed so security
from there. If the temp is 100.4 or above, there is a specific
protocol in place through their occupational health team. There are
very specific protocols and procedures in place that the screeners
will be trained on and must follow.Additional Skills &
Qualifications:At least 6 months of healthcare experience. Ideally
we would like to place medical assistants in these positions -
certified would be great but not a requirementWill also look at
candidates with certified nursing assistant (CNA), patient care
technician (PCT), and emergency medical technician (EMT)
