Description:- Perform medical billing and collections.- Review, correct and submit claims to payers through application of basic or developing knowledge and experience- Communicate with patients, government agencies and third party payers to gather, process and record information needed for appropriate reimbursement- Review unpaid accounts, initiate correct actions to collect the accounts, and follow up to ensure expected result is achieved- Initiate collection action for past due and denied claims- Calculate write-off and debit or credit adjustments- Meet or exceed productivity and quality performance expectations- Post insurance and personal payments to the correct account and calculate, verify and post contractual adjustments to the correct patient accountSkills:Medical billing, insurance, physician billing, ambulatory billing, Medicare, collection, accounts receivable, managed care, HMO, PPO, Medi-calTop Skills Details:- 2+ years Ambulatory Medical Billing experience - 2+ years AR/Follow up experience - 2+ years of experience working Denials - 1+ year of experience with Medicare/MediCal (California Medicare)- Full revenue cycle experience is preferredAdditional Skills & Qualifications:- Looking for someone that is comfortable giving and receiving feedback; able to work well in groups; and has experience with productivity standards.
