Corporate Operations Job Description The vision of Cerner Legal

comprehensive, proactive and innovative analysis, consultation and
work product to the associates, management and board of directors

As Senior Corporate Counsel, you will provide legal
guidance—advising, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating—client and
supplier agreements with and for Cerner clients. You will also
provide legal guidance on contracting models and draft contracts
for new business initiatives. Another core component of your role
will be to partner with the business and advise on effective
strategies to reduce risk throughout Cerner.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications JD from an American Bar
Association accredited law school
License to practice law in Missouri or ability to obtain license
to practice as an in-house attorney based in Missouri
At least 6 years of corporate contracting work experience
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge in healthcare and technology
licensing and counseling
Expectations Ability to quickly and effectively manage a variety
of assignments under time constraints and effectively prioritize
workload based on Cerner’s business needs and strategic goals
Ability to negotiate through strong oral and written
communication skills while displaying a commitment to a high level
of ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality
Reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Kansas City
Domestic travel as needed
