Operate CDL Class A trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently. Follow predetermined routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, reporting any deficiencies. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as company policies. Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, adhering to DOT regulations. Handle paperwork related to each load and maintaining records for inspections. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer service teams to update the status of deliveries and receive instructions during transit. Profound ability to drive extended hours and travel regularly. Proficiency in using GPS and other route navigation systems. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to lift and handle heavy objects when required. High level of stamina and the ability to remain focused over long periods. No DUI/DWI in the last 6 years. Must pass a drug test and background check.
