Associate General Counsel - Investment Banking Start Up
A rapid growth investment banking start up is looking to add an experienced Associate General Counsel to their legal team and are actively in a large growth stage. The company offers a fantastic growth opportunity and a great work life balance. This position will primarily focus on transactional and securities law and apply applicable laws across all business verticals. This position is also responsible for creating and fostering great professional relationships with clients, vendors, and service providers.
The Director, Corporate and M&A Counsel will be responsible for:

• Provide advice, legal guidance, and assistance to internal counsel and business leaders as well as external counsel on corporate matters.
• Help build and manage and in-house legal team
• Corporate governance and securities transactions management as seen fit in accordance with all laws affecting the company, as well as oversee M&A transactions.
  The Director, Corporate and M&A Counsel qualifications should include:
  • JD from Accredited Law School, and bar admission in one U.S. State
  • 3-5 years of corporate legal experience either at a top law firm and/or in-house experience
  • Financial Institution experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers, clients, and the customer
