Together, we won't stop!The Sr Software Engineer works with a team
of other software engineers, network and systems engineers, to
design, implement, and deploy software which meet customer's
requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional
networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available
environments. The Sr Software Engineer actively participates in
architecture discussions and contributes to designs of various
software components focused on creating solutions leveraging
Atlassian JiraSW, JiraSM, Rest API services, other Atlassian
plug-ins and modules, and potentially other systems. He/she works
on technical assignments which are moderately difficult, requiring
judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. He/she
works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and
initiative, understand implications of work and make
recommendations for solutions. He/she normally receives little
instruction on daily work, and only requires general instructions
on newly introduced assignments.Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Engineering Services
- Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions;
conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and
calculations. Expected to supervise base and associate level
engineers as needed.
- Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data
flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to
independently develop a full software stack. Understands the
building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to
complete software and automation work. Independent study of current
technology is expected. Interact with system engineers to define
system requirement and/or necessary requirements for
automation.

system/process/service.
- Review existing designs and processes to highlight more
efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively
through industry perspectives.

- Technical Writing
- Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Creates
clear documentation for new code and systems used.
- Documenting systems designs, presentations, and business
requirements for consumption and consideration at the manager
level.Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Engineering
(Required)Work Experience:
- 4-7 years Technical engineering experience.
(Required)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work experience in JiraSW and JiraSM configuration and
development, including custom script development of conditions,
validators, post conditions, listeners, live fields, fragments, and
behaviors using SIL scripting (Appfire Power Scripts) and Groovy
scripting (Adaptavist Scriptrunner)
- Strong work experience in SQL scripting with Azure DB (SQL
Server) and PostgreSQL
- Strong work experience in development script/languages:
JavaScript, Python, SIL, Groovy, YML, XML
- Experience using Visual Studio, GitLab, qTest, Tosca,
Confluence
- At least 18 years of age
