build a better world.Job Description:The Global Product Leader will
create, maintain, and oversee long-term global product line
development for mailing solutions products for envelope converting,
mail inserting & overprinting portfolios.ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:Conduct a comprehensive Product Life Cycle analysis
focused on driving new product development to include, but not
limited to, advances in technology, competitor analysis, voice of
customer, market positioning, pricing, cost, and trend
analysis.Plan and facilitate Market Research Events.Create,
maintain, and take ownership of product development
roadmaps.Organize and prioritize engineering development needs and
new ideas to address market requirements.Follow structured product
development & delivery methodology for new product development and
manage the pipeline of projects at all stages of development from
idea generation to product launch.Plan and facilitate internal
activities to support new product introductions, to included but
not limited to product training, marketing launch support plans and
marketing conditioning.Seek input and support from cross-functional
leaders.Oversee execution of new development projects including
aligning resources, facilitating design reviews, building and
testing.Creation, forecasting and management of the overall
development financial budget and individual project budgets.Partner
with Project Management to facilitate and execute manufacturing and
testing of new development projects.Work with sales leaders and
marketing teams to develop strategies and materials to support and
promote new products.Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION &
EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field or
a two-year post high school diploma/certificate and four years of
related experience.At least five years of experience supporting the
designated product line.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:Demonstrated
knowledge of product line features, functions, competitors, and
market trends.Working knowledge of systems including Infor CRM/CPQ,
XA, and SolidWorks.Working knowledge of standard engineering
standards and procedures.Proficient with Microsoft Office
Suite.Ability to travel 40%Experience with PLCM and SWOT analysis
