Overview:
$16 per hour

In this role, you will be front and center in the Worlds of Fun's seasonal hiring experience! As a part of a recruiting team, you will own the candidate process from start to finish by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and matching candidates' experience to current openings in Worlds of Fun's operating divisions. Recruiters will attend off-site community events as well as job fairs to help source and hire applicants for the upcoming season. You will gain valuable skills and work experience with our Human Resources Team while working in a fun environment as you match candidates to jobs, meet divisional hiring needs, and comply with applicable local, state, and federal employment laws.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize various tools (Phone, Text, Email, Online Chat Bot, etc.) to contact applicants and schedule interviews
• Ability to make multiple calls daily to engage applicants is a must
• Reviews applications for seasonal positions and contacts qualified candidates
• Ensures applicants meet eligibility requirements and recommends other positions they may be more qualified for
• Conducts interviews and makes hiring decisions or recommendations for seasonal positions
• Attends on-site and off-site recruitment functions to attract talented individuals to our organization
• Assists in writing reports and researching statistical information as directed by manager
• Coordinates supplemental staffing programs, including developing and maintaining relationships with groups, managing check in process and preparing remunerations.
• Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
• Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including appearance and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

  We are looking for individuals who are self starting, energetic, goal oriented, and eager to build new skills. Recruiters are the first contact with the Kansas City market and are setting the tone for all jobs at Worlds of Fun.
