Description:Company Trainer position serving Residential Behavioral Health, Milestones Academy and Early Intervention clinic. Prior DSP experience requires.The position is responsible for the analysis, development, and implementation of organization training, including development of curriculum and delivery of courses. Evaluates effectiveness of training and develops measurements to demonstrate results. This position is responsible for the ongoing tracking of training requirements per individual and ensures ongoing compliance with all agency training requirements.In addition to demonstrating the company's Core Competencies applicable to all positions, the Company Trainer is responsible for the following Professional Skills Competencies:PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Other duties and projects will be assigned, as necessary.)Program Management1. Analyzes organization training needs; assesses emerging practices in service delivery, identifying and implementing those which would enable the organization to maximize its mission impact.2. Develops and implements curriculum, ensuring ongoing compliance with current rules and regulations, the Person-Centered Plans, the Kansas City Regional Office of the Department of Mental Health, and KCBHH's mission, goals and values.3. Effectively delivers training in accordance with curriculum.4. Evaluates effectiveness of training and curriculum, establishing measurements and reporting on results.5. Responsible for ongoing tracking of training requirements, including enrollment and completion of courses per individual and performing and supervising fidelity checks for tools training as applicable.6. Ensures reporting and documentation of training is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with rules and regulations.7. Under direction of Director of Human Resources and the KCBHH President, assists in staff development/performance management, including ongoing issues, incidents, and/or accidents, to ensure quality and adherence to existing policies and procedures, particularly as it relates to the health and safety of persons-served.8. Develop and deliver reports defining program progress, problems and solutions to Executive Management.9. Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.10. Responsible for the review of camera footage as it pertains to programming.Management/Leadership1. Serve as a role model to establish and foster a positive culture based on trust, respect, collaboration and integrity. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company's dealings with the marketplace.2. Support, model and encourage a Culture of Compliance by adhering to, and fostering team members' adherence to, the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct and Compliance Program.3. Serve as a credible and collaborative leader with both internal and external constituencies.Other Duties

  • Perform other duties and special projects to support various organizational initiatives, as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education, experience, training and specific skills to fulfill the primary responsibilities and duties of the job):
    • Bachelor's Degree in administration, psychology, education, social work, special education, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, or a closely related field highly preferred.
    • At least three years of experience, in providing services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or mental health services.Requirements:Education and Experience:
