Honeywell FM's culture of integrity, commitment and continuous improvement enables them to deliver responsive, collaborative, and innovative management and technology services and products that translate into cutting edge solutions to complex national security issues. ***This position will be in Kansas City, MO*** Summary: This role is designed to support HR strategies for a portion of a division or smaller client groups under direction of an HRM or Sr HRM in Human resources. The role will partner with other HR Team members to broker HR services and actively engage in staffing, organizational development, talent management, coaching and direct employee interaction and employee relations issues. This role will provide support of HR initiatives and help resolve diverse business issues. Candidates will build upon their HR functional expertise and effectiveness to align human resources principles with business objectives. + Provide HR support for a portion of the business while partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders and leveraging HR functional expertise to support critical human resources objectives. + Visits work areas regularly to maintain visibility and accessibility to all employees on all shifts. + Duties include but are not limited to: + Increase the overall performance of the organization by creating strong partnerships with client groups + Build a workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing and retaining top talent + Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Human Resources organization + Support a client group of 200 employees or less + Leverages OD and change management tools + Implements initiatives in partnership with division leaders + Coordinates comp & reward systems in conjunction with mgmt. + May participate in job analyses and job description creation + Participates in perf mgmt. system activities, calibration meetings and MRR process + Partners in investigations and documents findings + Coaches and councils employees and management on multiple topics, including career planning and development + Cognizance of CBA works to resolve union and mgmt. issues and coordinates grievance meetings and partners on company answers in conjunction with Labor COE. + Manages requisition and staff You Must Have: + Minimum of two years Human Resources experience + Bachelor's degree required - prefer in an appropriate field such as human resources, organizational behavior, business administration and/or a master's degree + US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain DOE Clearance We Value: + Prior experience in a Human Resources Generalist role preferred + Labor and Union experience preferred + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to influence and work effectively with employees + Able to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment finding the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization + Working knowledge of government laws, regulations, and legal decisions affecting employment FMT2021 Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
