Position Summary:
The HR Coordinator is an entry level position which handles all aspects of employee onboarding and day-to-day employee communications. Most interactions are via phone and email and we experience a high volume of transactions daily. This position assists new hires in completing all employment paperwork including, form I-9, W-4's for tax withholding, as well as maintaining employee data, handling payroll questions and completing any other tasks necessary for monitoring and supporting the payroll process. Customer service is the number one priority by securing a strong positive relationship to ensure client satisfaction. Retention of clients and providing them first class service is mandatory. You will assist the clients in the following manner listed below depending on what services we are providing the client you have been assigned. You may have other duties assigned not listed below.
Essential Job Functions:

  • Answering calls and responding to emails in real time
    • Onboard all new hires and ensure all paperwork is filled out and filed accurately for designated clients
      • Assist with benefit questions for employees; including but not limited to the necessary paperwork needed for enrollment
        • Ensure client satisfaction and retention
          • Respond to client and employee inquires promptly and professionally
            • Complete data entry in support of payroll
              • Responsible for complying with all payroll adjustment forms, keeping records compliant and documented in both the payroll file and employee file in addition to adhering to each companys special payroll needs with every payroll that is processed
                • Coordinating with HR and Benefits Department about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires, benefit adjustments)
                  • Assist with exit plans and assist in conducting exit interviews upon termination, as needed
                    • Take a proactive approach to foreseeing issues for clients and providing suggestions
                      • Perform work free from error and within timeline
                        • Maintain employee and vendor files accurately
                          • Maintain confidentiality and protects operations by keeping information secure
                            • Provide support in human resources through areas such as new hire paperwork administration, employee evaluation tracking, benefits enrollment, background checks, drug screens, etc.
                              • Manage Timekeeping for designated clients
                                • Assist with Employee Relations issues in a professional and confidential manner
                                  • Attend weekly meetings as assigned
                                    • Additional relevant duties as assigned
