We're growing our team here in Kansas City, KS:Pay: $17.51 - $19.06 / HourThis position is a dual role for security officer and security supervisor.

• Shift 1 - Monday 3rd Shift 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. and Friday 1st Shift 7 a.m. 5 p.m. (18 hours part time) About the job:
  • Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
  • You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
  • Vehicle patrols during shift hours (company vehicle provided).
  • Supervision of other security officers including attendance reporting and officer performance reports.
  • Foot patrols throughout facility grounds and surrounding areas.
  • Handle all Security escalation matters as they occur.
  • Creating incident reports.
  • Report to the account manager any changes and or updates that are needed or inquired.
  • Report suspicious activity and trespassers to client management and local law enforcement.
  • Roving responsibilities acting as a deterrent and proactively addressing security issues.
  • Excellent customer service is always top priority.
  • Rapid Response to Alarm alerts including fire alarms
  • On-the-job training provided. Your Background:
    • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
    • You're able to pass an extensive screening process.
    • At least 6 months security experience, law enforcement, or military.
    • Prior supervisory experience required.
    • Must be physically capable of walking long distances and climbing stairs.
    • Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions when needed.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • Demonstrate a stable work history.
    • Strong customer service skills/experience.
    • Ability to obtain/maintain a Kansas City KS professional security license.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
    • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
    • Strong computer literacy skills.
