We are the Mortgage Company in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as voted by readers of The Pitch KC, and we are preparing to win best places to work in 2021.OverviewThe loan officer position will be equipped to leverage Fountain Mortgage's proven in-house marketing resources to convert self-generated referral business.What You'll GetIn-house Marketing DepartmentIndustry leading mortgage technologyLoan Officer Assistant dedicated at 20 hours per week when closing 7 loans in two consecutive months is achieved (company recruited, hired, and trained)Loan Officer Assistant fully dedicated at 40 hours per week when closing 15 loans in two consecutive months is achieved (company recruited, hired, and trained)Industry seasoned processors who average 20 loans closed per month to maintain high touches on your filesIndustry seasoned closing department who average 45 closed loans per month to maintain extremely quick turn times for closing docs being sent to titleOne on one coaching and mentorship from industry veteran managers and owners who specialize in growing both internet lead conversions and self-generated referral businessUncapped commission structureWhat You'll Be DoingConnect with potential clients and realtors through events and community involvementObtain an average of 15 qualified borrowers per monthClose an average of at least 4 loans per monthConvert qualified borrowers into closed loansUtilize CRM to complete daily task listsReview loan applications and issue pre-approvalsProvide mortgage consultation and convert leads into borrowersQuote and lock ratesSolicit documentation for file opening based on pre-scrub needs listAdditional duties as assignedRequirements:What You'll BringHigh school diploma or equivalent required.1 years' sales and/or lending experience.Prior mortgage experience strongly preferred.Active NMLS licensing or the ability to pass the Mortgage Licensing Exam to obtain an active NMLS license within 180 days of hire.Strong knowledge of lending guidelines (AllRegs).Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately with a sense of urgencyInterpersonal skills.Problem-solving skills.Time management skills.Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals.Physical RequirementsAbility to work in an office environment, while being seated, standing, walking, typing and speaking.
