Job Description:
The Healthcare Resort of Topeka Come join our team and start
making a difference! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for
carrying out Daily/Weekly Cleaning and Maintenance Schedules.
Completing urgent work order repairs as needs. Coordinating
services with corresponding departments in order to perform routine
cleaning and maintenance issues. Also for handling resident and
family requests. Requirements are as follows: Must demonstrate care
for others and ability to communicate with staff and residents in a
professional, but compassionate manner. Be detail-oriented to
ensure our facility remains presentable and sanitary. Have working
knowledge of housekeep and maintenance functions. Must have
experience in repairing drywall, paint, stain, and refinish. Ensure
that the facility and its equipment is properly maintained for
resident comfort and convenience. Follow established safety
precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and
supplies. Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility
and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical,
carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with
