qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare role is
available for a skilled RN with stepdown experience in the Kansas
City, KS area. This contract position offers the opportunity to
work in a dynamic medical center environment supporting complex
patient care in progressive care and critical care settings.
Location Positioned in Olathe, Kansas, this medical center provides
comprehensive inpatient services and is part of a larger health
system known for advanced care and community focus. Olathe offers a

Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care in progressive
care/stepdown units. Manage complex patient cases including use of
CRRT, Bipaps, chest tubes, and PICC lines. Perform clinical tasks
independently such as drawing labs and handling codes confidently.
Float to ICU and various inpatient units including Med/Surg,
Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and Emergency Department based on unit needs.
Provide care during every other weekend and holidays as required by
the unit schedule. Participate in a structured orientation,
including training on EPIC electronic medical records and
unit-specific protocols. Desired Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent critical care or intensive care nursing
experience. Proficient with critical care procedures: CRRT, chest
tubes, PICC lines, and advanced respiratory support. Licensed RN in
Kansas or a Compact RN License. Current certifications in BLS,
ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHF). Comfortable managing patient
consults and codes independently. Experience in med/surg and
emergency settings a plus due to floating requirements. Schedule
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three shifts per week.
Every other weekend coverage required. Holiday coverage based on
unit needs. This role provides a valuable contract opportunity to
