Lees Summit, Missouri, 64086! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Must-Have: Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical/surgical
telemetry. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a
Medical Specialty Unit with Telemetry. The schedule consists of 3
shifts per week, working nights from 18:45 to 07:15.
Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Candidates must have prior
experience in a similar setting. First-time travelers are welcome
to apply. The role requires 8 weekend shifts within a 6-week
schedule period. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is required.
Candidates should possess various telemetry skills, including
monitoring and interpreting. Floating may be required to meet
facility needs. The clinician may be assigned holiday shifts and
charge nurse assignments as needed. Candidates should be prepared
to manage post-catheterization patients. Experience with electronic
charting systems is preferred. The facility has a capacity of 240
beds, including an intensive care unit. The daily census averages
around 30 patients. Candidates should have the ability to
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Additional skills include
management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, and
administering blood products. Each candidate must provide 2
professional references from the past year. Compliance with
training and orientation modules will be required. Candidates
should be prepared to complete further training before starting the
