Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a traveler setting
is required. Must have at least one year of experience in a
critical care environment with specific experience in a pediatric
cardiac unit. License: Must possess relevant state licenses or a
compact license. Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications are
required. PALS certification is also required. Must-Have:
Candidates must have demonstrated pediatric cardiac intensive care
experience clearly indicated in work history. Travel experience is
necessary for this position. Description: This position is for a
registered nurse specializing in pediatric cardiac care. The nurse
will be responsible for providing critical care to pediatric
patients with various cardiac conditions. Duties may include
floating to a cardiac medical-surgical floor as needed to assist
with patient care. The nurse will work with an interdisciplinary
team and support services to ensure comprehensive patient care. The
facility is a leading children's hospital recognized for its
dedication to pediatric health care. Candidates should have
experience with advanced monitoring and critical care procedures.
Daily patient ratios may be expected to be around 2 patients per
nurse. Floating between facilities may be required. A medication
and dosage test will be administered during the first week of
employment, with a passing requirement of 100%. Three attempts will
be granted to pass this test. The environment is smoke-free.
