registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. This opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse
experienced in Operating Room procedures to support specialized
surgical teams. The role is based in Lawrence, KS, offering a
contract position with a reputable healthcare facility.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Current RN license in
Kansas or Compact RN licensure - Proficiency in at least one of the
following specialties: ENT (including trach/airways, head/neck
flaps, ears, soft tissue cases), Neurosurgery (burr holes,
craniotomy), or Surgical Oncology with experience using Davinci
robotic systems (Xi, 5, and SP), Rosa, and Globus navigation -
Preferred proficiency across all three specialties - Level I trauma
experience is highly valued - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Schedule/Hours: - Primarily day shifts from 6:30 AM
to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Responsibilities: -
Provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room environment -
Assist surgical teams in complex specialty procedures - Float to
various ORs as needed to support different surgeries - Participate
in required on-call rotations with no weekend or holiday work
unless falling on a scheduled shift This position includes an
in-person orientation focused on protocols and training, including
electronic medical record navigation. The employer promotes a
