We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Missouri. This opportunity begins on Jan 25, 2026, and consists of 12-hour day shifts in an academic trauma setting, with a detailed block schedule across several weeks. The assignment is ideal for candidates with proven academic trauma experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment utilizing the Epic EMR system. Job Details - Location: Missouri - Start Date: Jan 25, 2026 - LOA: 30 days - Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant - Schedule: 12-hour day shifts; block scheduling available. Specific dates include: - Jan 25 (0900-2100) - Feb 7 (0900-2100) - Mar 5 and Mar 6 (0800-2000) - Mar 9-10 (0800-2000) - Mar 12-13 (1000-2200) - Mar 18-20 (0800-2000) - Mar 25-27 (1000-2200) - Mar 30-Apr 1 (1000-2200) - Apr 5 (0900-2100) - Apr 6 (0800-2000) - Apr 13-16 (0800-2000) - Apr 22-24 (1000-2200) - Apr 27-30 (1000-2200) Responsibilities and Duties - Provide patient care for emergency and trauma cases in an academic trauma center - Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and other providers in a multidisciplinary team - Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans - Participate in orientation 1-2 days prior to scheduled shifts as required by the client - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR - Adhere to clinical protocols and contribute to best practices in emergency medicine Additional Information - Must have trauma experience in an academic setting - Active Missouri license required - Emergency Medicine board certifications required: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC), Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP), or Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP-BC) Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
