Location: Kansas City, MO 64132 (Missouri healthcare jobs) Setting:
Inpatient Medical-Surgical Unit (23 beds) Shift: 12-hour night
shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Hours per week: 36 Contract Duration: 13
weeks (Start: 12/4/2025 – End: 3/5/2026) Employment Type: Travel
RN, On-Site Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week
schedule; 2 major and 2 minor holidays Dress Code: Navy blue
scrubs; navy, black, or white jacket/undershirt Estimated Weekly
Salary: $1570 - $1680 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
(Missouri or compact state) BLS certification (required for all RN
jobs) Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital nursing experience
(Med/Surg preferred) ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification
(preferred for Med/Surg nurses) Strong attention to detail,
patient-focused, team player, and positive attitude Med/Surg RN
Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse
patient population on a busy Med/Surg unit Collaborate with charge
nurses, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries to achieve optimal patient
outcomes Operate medical equipment including Pyxis, hoyer lifts,
Sara Steady, Welch Allen VS machines, Dynamaps, and hover mats
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR Float to other
medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed Maintain a safe,
supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff Follow
all unit guidelines, hospital policies, and dress code requirements
