Job Details - New hospital leadership investing in improving physician and patient experiences - Change in hospitalist coverage with dedicated rounding and admitting shifts to maximize efficiency and work-life balance - Level 1 Trauma Center, 590 beds - 7 on; 7off scheduling for full-time - Staffing Model: - 7am-7pm: 6 physicians - 5 rounding and 1 admitter, 3 NPPA rounding - 5pm-5am: 1 NPPA cross coverage - 1 Physician Nocturnist 7p-7a - 7pm-7am: 1 physician admitter - 7on/7off schedule for Full Time - Open ICU with Intensivist on site 24/7 - Critical Care Program managed by SCP Health - No procedures required - Paid malpractice with unlimited tail coverage - EMR: Meditech - Qualifications: - Physicians must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - AGACNP certification required for NPs - NPs and PAs must have at least 1 year of HM experience Facility Information Research Medical Center, a 590-bed hospital, located at 2316 East Meyer Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, is one of the region's leading acute-care hospitals and provides free parking for patients and visitors.
