Data Collection: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 23 Number of
Staff - Various roles including Charge Nurse, RN, LPN, PCT, and
unit secretary on both day and night shifts. Equipment Used -
Pyxis, hoyer lift, Sara steady, Welch Allen VS machines, Dynamaps,
hover mat for patient transfers. EMR System - Meditech Typical
hiring profile: Skill Set Most recruited for - Patient-focused,
attention to detail, team player, positive attitude. Typical
Procedures Performed - General medical-surgical care.
Certifications Required - Nursing license and BLS. Floating Areas -
Other medical-surgical units and telemetry may be necessary. Dress
Code - Navy blue scrubs, navy, black, or white jacket, navy, black,
or white undershirt. Weekends and On Call - 3 weekend shifts per
4-week schedule, 2 major holidays, and 2 minor holidays. General
