ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Pediatric Cardiology or Cardiac
ICU experience is highly preferred. Travel experience is required.
License: Must hold a valid nursing license. Missouri or compact
license and Kansas license are both required. Certifications: BLS
and PALS certifications are required. Only AHA certifications will
be accepted. RQI certifications will not be accepted. Must-Have:
Travel experience is mandatory. Candidates must have both Missouri
and Kansas licenses. Those contracted for the main campus may start
with the Kansas license pending but must have documentation that it
has been applied for. Description: This position involves covering
RN duties while staff are being trained. The RN will be floating
between facilities in the designated area. Cardiac or Cardiac ICU
experience will be given strong consideration. A medication and
dosage test will be administered in the first week, with a pass
rate of 100% required to succeed. Three attempts will be allowed
for passing the test. The facility observes a smoke-free policy.
