ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Patient ratio of 1:2 • Minimum 2 years of OR experience required with general OR and trauma experience • Must have full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months with no employment gap greater than 90 days • BLS certification required • On-call required: 9-12 call shifts per 6-week schedule period • Call schedule includes 1-2 weekdays per week and 2 weekends per 13 weeks • Weekend work may be required when on-call staff is bumped • Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract period • Maximum 7 days request time off allowed • Floating required between departments, units, and facilities as needed • Must have both Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact license at submission • Epic charting system experience required • 36 hours of orientation provided • Serve patients of all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Work in 15-room OR suite with daily census of 37 cases • Charge experience preferred • Trauma Level I experience preferred • Must complete Epic training modules, infusion pump training, and glucometer training Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department with a 15-room operating suite handling 37 cases daily.
